Closer to forums than IG. Anything old school deserves to not be bundled in with the rest of “social media”, so in that regard I get it. We still have handles though.

bro was a mayor and couldn’t afford a hellcat 😭
seriousposting, I know some people prefer scat pack because the power is instant on account of being NA, just turning the mirror on him
I’ve seen other sources claim 20. Still ass in my opinion
This is the funniest part for me
There are reportedly around ten Robotaxis running in Austin right now.
I thought you were talking about Ukraine’s head of UAV forces for a second lol
I’m happy that the people who built tools of terror (that are of particular significance to me) are getting fucked. I’m not happy which way/fashion they’re getting fucked. We’re on the same page here.
I’m not gonna write paragraphs about the nature of oppression and theory of state building, I don’t think that’s gonna help anyone. Simply stating my feelings about one particular oppressor. I don’t even know if they’re gonna be dethroned. But I do know the people of that country (and those of perpetrating ones) have infinitely more power over their future than my words on here. And my actions support neither side.
That’s not how it works.
How what works? My feelings about the situation?
I’m glad that at least one oppressor gets to the “find out” part. I’m sad it’s not mainly the people they’ve been oppressing that are doing it.
Let’s hope that changes when it’s the others’ turn.
A social media influence campaign doesn’t even have to be physically based within the country running it
So much this. If anyone is morbidly curious, look into where kiwifarms were hosted and who it was aimed at. In short: on the other side of the world from their target audience.
A desperate/unchecked hosting service and not a lot of money would give you a good launchpad. We live in outsourcing times, you probably don’t even need to put in all that much effort yourself.
Don’t feed them.
Not really, there are some good examples of underdogs winning (without cruise missiles for example).
edit: and we’re not talking strictly conventional. also that’s not what “no downsides” means
What happens if one country invades the other which doesn’t posses the tech necessary to kill the leader? eg cruise missiles, bunker busters, or modern aviation in general
“Leaders can have a little assassination, as a treat”
Not too often, just enough to remind them of their humanity.
If a country’s government starts a war, the most likely result would be that political leader getting merc’d by the government of the country they attacked.
Depends on who’s stronger. I don’t think it’s gonna lead to stability every time, unless the leaders realize it’s better (read: profitable) to be at peace.
You don’t have a front line there. Closest I can think of is a ship, or one of the random bases but considering they’re in the army reserve they’ll most likely never see those.
A good way to lower entry requirements is to be at war. There’s no need to do that if you’re at peace and (mostly) hit your recruitment targets. Keep in mind that people can get transferred from unit to unit depending on armed forces’ needs, not necessarily your needs.
what you need are lots of people to “man” data/operations centers and just a few ready to deploy for actual combat.
Maybe in smaller countries and smaller wars. You still need a shitload of people to hold defensive positions for your pilots and other “remote” staff to have any effect. Would be true for insurgencies probably.
nuclear ICBMs (not that it’s a good thing we have those)
Debatable. I’d rather have some rn, it’s a good deterrent.
I see patches of a unicorn from time to time, they’re used for identification in the same way
As long as nobody was harmed they could blow up a hundred rockets for all I care. Maybe it’ll even help with competition, like make other companies switch launch vehicles, so it might be a good thing (just not for them) lol
You’re reading their statement about it though.
You can’t have huge reach without using shit tier corporate media. Not yet anyway. People are used to things they’re used to, it’s not exactly rocket science. Make backups elsewhere and encourage people to follow you there, that’s the sensible option imo.
edit: unless you’re willing to limit reach from day 1, I’m sure there are orgs like that
The article is great, it’s just the poster writing unrelated fanfiction (a small portion tbh) underneath lol
edit: they actually just took some parts from the article and paraphrased it, who does that, it’s not a school essay where you have to hit a total word target
spoiler
For example, about H-6 from the article:
Also, why would the H-6N be modified? The ballistic missiles this article mentions by designation were adapted from ship-based ones.
And the N variant is specifically made for ballistic weapons. They might carry nuke tipped CJ-10, but that’s not a new cruise missile nor limited to H-6N variants.
Just seems like unproven filler text at best.
